The Sports Concept Store is a leading, high-end, performance running shoe and sporting apparel stockist in South Africa.
We stock stylish, innovative and, above all, performance driven running shoes and gear by Hoka, On, Under Armour and Asics. Our goal is to ensure that our customers are wearing the latest technology in running shoes – be it at a professional level or for good health and enjoyment.
The first store was opened in De Waterkant's chic-cool Cape Quarter Lifestyle Centre in 2013.
The Somerset West branch in Waterstone Village opened in September 2021, followed by the Willowbridge store in Tyger Valley in November 2022, and in Cavendish Square July 2023.
Social Responsibility
We may pound the pavements to improve our minds and bodies, but for some these mean streets are home.
We proudly support Sidewalk Specials, a PBO who through a culture of respect and upliftment, provide free veterinary care, mass-sterilisation services and education to the impoverished community of De Doorns.
We donate 10% of our profits to this amazingly compassionate organisation.
